Privacy Policy
The public website does not offer visitor accounts or process payments directly. When pages are requested, the server and hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, referrer and browser or user-agent information for website delivery, security and troubleshooting.
This website uses a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics system to understand page visits and improve the website. It records page paths, approximate pseudonymous visitor identifiers, referrer hosts, broad device categories, engagement milestones and clicks on website links. The analytics database does not store the visitor's raw IP address; detailed events are retained for up to 90 days and aggregated totals may be retained longer. Known automated crawlers are excluded where reasonably possible.
Visitors may submit a comment on a Just Me post without creating an account or providing an email address. The chosen pseudonym and comment text are stored for moderation; approved comments become public. A day-scoped pseudonymous anti-abuse key may be derived from technical request data, but the comments database does not store the raw IP address or browser user-agent. Rejected or spam comments may be retained to support moderation and abuse prevention, and can be deleted by the site owner.
If you contact Forest Whore by email or through a linked messaging or content platform, the information you choose to provide is handled by that service and used to review and respond to your request. The public website does not load third-party advertising or analytics tools. An anti-bot challenge provided by Cloudflare Turnstile may be loaded on the comment form when additional spam protection is enabled; Cloudflare applies its own privacy terms to that verification. External services have their own privacy practices.
Live Chat is separate from comments and does not require a visitor account. Messages, automatic nicknames and reply references are immediately public. The chat retains up to 5,000 messages for up to 30 days; the owner can remove messages earlier. Nickname records may be retained for up to 366 days since their last use, with a maximum of 100,000 records. Do not post personal details: an anonymous display name does not make a public conversation private or prevent technical server logging.

Comments are reviewed before publication. Do not submit spam, advertising, malicious links, impersonation, threats, harassment, private identifying information, illegal material, or any sexual content involving a person under 18. A pseudonym must not falsely suggest that you are Forest Whore or a website administrator.
You remain responsible for what you submit and permit the website to display an approved comment and the chosen pseudonym alongside the relevant post. Comments may be rejected, hidden or deleted at any time. To request removal of one of your comments, use the privacy contact above and include the post URL, approximate submission time and pseudonym.
